Things to Note:

  • Homework and spellings will be issued on a Friday.
  • Number bonds / Timetables will be continuous using their cards.
  • Homework should be returned by Thursday.
  • A spelling test will take place on Friday morning. 
  • PE will take place on Monday morning and Thursday afternoon (Please ensure your child has a PE kit, including pumps, trainers and a sports jumpers, in school).

Trip

This week we had a fantastic trip to Ash End Farm. We were extremely lucky to be able to stroke, feed and see some beautiful animals.Here are just a few photos...

Millennium Woods

We had great fun at Millennium Woods for our Brilliant Beginning. We had a go at making leaf mobiles, homes for woodland wildlife, a mini-beast hotel and spent some time exploring micro habitats and identifying mini-beasts. Here are some of the photos...

This week we have put our compass and map skills into practise at Jubilee Woods. We had a great time finding the 8 compass points and using these to travel around the woods. Here are some photos....

At the beginning of our topic we became Scientists. We were investigating how ice melts, how animals keep warm, which materials are the best at keeping us dry and best of all we got a little messy!!!!!

This week we were lucky enough to go to Barratts homes to listen to a storyteller to celebrate Storytelling Week. It was a lovely walk through the village and then we listened to some fabulous stories with some interesting musical instruments.

Autumn Walk: 

In Science we were Autumn learning about Autumn and how things have changed. We loved the colourful and crisp leaves.
