Shabbat Visit 2007
As part of their topic on Judaism a lady of the Jewish faith, Jo Elijah, visited our children inYear 1 and Year 2to talk to them about the Torah and Shabbat. She showed them artefacts and Year 1 children had the opportunity to taste Hallah bread. Year 2 heard how it feels to be part of a Jewish familyand how it fells to worship in the Jewish faith. The children learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
