Rowing Machines House Competition
Mr Bushell arranged for the school to use five rowing machines last week and organised a house competition for the older children. Our winners are:- Year 3 Harry Bardell, Year 4 Leon Martin-Evans, Year 5 Drew Parker, Year 6 Tommy Mayo. Congratulations to these children, who surprised themselves as well!
Police Notice
Schools are being targeted by thieves who are stealing metal items as well as cash and cheques. Access has been gained by insecure doors, skylights and windows. We would ask our school neighbours to help us keep a watchful eye on any suspicious behaviour on our school premises and report to us and/or the police. Northants Police switchboard: 03000 111 222, or alternatively call Crime stoppers anonymously: 0800 555 111.
Police have emailed our school regarding a break-in on Main Road last weekend and in Rectory Close on Monday 1 February. In the latter case, the offenders claimed to be police officers. They were described as ‘male 1; around 5ft 11in – 6 ft of slim build with short brown hair and was wearing a navy blue top and trousers; male 2 was smaller than the first man, with a hood up.’
Police would like to remind everyone, ‘If you’re not sure, DON’T open the door’.
