World Book Day
It was very strange to see pupils and staff dressed in pyjamas yesterday but it certainly helped to create a ‘relaxed’ atmosphere ready for some of our literacy activities. Pupils made book covers, talked about and read their favourite books and older pupils read to younger pupils. Blue and Orange classes showed great patience in waiting until the afternoon before they dressed up, too. Pupils were each given a World Book Day voucher to redeem against a book purchase.
School Jumble Sale and Tombola (Mufti Day)
On Monday 8th March, (Mufti Day), pupils are invited to attend school in non-uniform as long as they remember to bring an item or two for the tombola, i.e. tins, bottles or chocolate (apologies for the wrong date last week!) If you are able to help on the day, either sorting jumble or helping behind a stall, please let the school office know.
More importantly, please come along and support our annual sale at 3.45 pm!
