After five weeks of learning Italian cusine the children enjoyed preparing and serving a special meal for family and friends. They were treated to tasty spaghetti with meatballs and tomato sauce and a yummey Tiramisu for dessert. The evening was a great success and the children enjoyed showcasing their new recipes.

Christmas Fair
The children enjoyed making mincemeat, mince pies, biscuits and sweets for the Crick Christmas Fair. It was a very successful evening and we even had our first cookery demonstration of some wonderful shortbread biscuits!

New session - 16th November
The next 5 sessions of our Let's Get Cooking Club will start on Tuesday 16th November at 3.30pm. Ten children from Blue and Indigo classes will take part to learn basic cooking, health and safety and presentation skills.
We are still looking for empty jam jars to hold our wonderful mincemeat we will be making this term. Please hand any jars into the school office.

Let's Get Cooking - September 2010
Welcome to the new Let's Get Cooking club. We are very excited to start the new school year with 10 children ready to learn all about cooking and get excited about food. The club will run for five sessions this term and we hope to offer 10 more places in Autumn Term 2. In our first session we enjoyed making some fruit smoothies. Photo's to follow soon!
