Here is a little timetable that might help you organise your day. You don't have to use this but it is here if you want it.
I have now started to upload the work in Word, where I can, so you don't have to keep printing the work. Feel free to complete it in the document and send it back to me. I have started to add art work and other work sent to me on this page, so we can see what a fab job everyone is doing.
Thank you for all the lovely emails; they really cheer me up. Keep up the hard work everyone miss you all.
Tuesday 17th March
English- Can you write a newspaper report, for your cold task. This can be on anything you would like. You can email this to me.
Topic- What can you find out about the climate zones of America?
SPaG- Complete this practice test
Thursday 19th March
English - Hot task can you write your diary about the Giants Necklace Story. I have attached an example diary here for you. Example diary
Friday 20th March
English - Now that you have written your diary entry, I would like you to mark it using the ladder attached. If you have missed anything from the ladder can you edit it into your diary
Maths- we don't want our hard work to go to waste. I want you to complete the following tests, to see how well you have done over the last couple of weeks.
Monday 23rd March
English - Comprehension
Computing - Please Long onto Purple Mash and continue the work we were doing on writing a blog. Please remember to save your blogs so I can see them.
Tuesday 24th March
English - Newspaper comprehension
Topic -We are looking at comparing North and South America. I would like you to pick a country in North America and then one in South America and create a poster or PowerPoint to explain the similarities and differences between these countries. The DK website is a good place to start.
Wednesday 25th March
English - features of a newspaper- today we are going to be looking at the features of a newspaper. I want you to look at the one that already has its features identified and then look at the other newspapers attached and see if you can highlight the features. just like we would do in a normal English lesson. Thursday 26th March
Science - our Science this half term is electrical circuits. We have already had a go at using the components to make circuits using :bulbs, switches motors and more. For your science this week, I want you to look at how you can represent this in a diagram. The following sheets should help you with this. activity 1 activity 2 Symbols sheet
Friday 27th March
English -For this session, I would like you to take the newspaper , attached here, and box it up. Just like we do in a normal English lesson, take the parts of the newspaper and put them into the parts of the boxup.
