Early Years Foundation Stage
This stage occurs before the National Curriculum and provides a framework for your child’s learning in our Reception class. Further details about the EYFS can be found by clicking below.
There are 7 areas of learning and these are split into two parts-
The Prime Areas-Prime areas are fundamental, work together and move through to support development in all other areas.
Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language and Physical Development
The Specific Areas-Specific areas include essential skills and knowledge for children to participate in society.
Literacy, Mathematical, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design
Areas of Learning and Development are all interconnected.
